Education Advisory Committee

To ensure that this dynamic exhibit connects to, engages, and teaches a diverse audience in communities and schools across the nation, the Museum has assembled experienced educators with backgrounds in history, civics, classroom teaching, curriculum design, and museum education and design. The Education Advisory Committee, led by Nancy Hayward, will work to ensure that the exhibit’s stories connect with and impact a diverse general audience and that key themes tie together into an interconnected and powerful personal experience. The committee will also focus on linking exhibit themes to relevant curriculum standards for teachers and students (grades 5-12).
