Scholarly Advisory Committee

The National Women’s History Museum is creating an innovative traveling multimedia exhibit that not only commemorates the 100th anniversary of the 19th Amendment. For this initial phase of the project, a committee of scholars, led by Page Harrington, has been convened. They will begin by creating a short narrative starting with the campaign for Suffrage and then moving through the arc of women’s history from 1920 to 2020. The primary focus will be on broad themes with an emphasis on diversity and inclusion, and will prioritize making connections between the historic women of the 20th century and the young women and girls aged 10-24 who will be viewing this exhibit as it travels.
